About the Season of Anya
Hey there, and thank you so much for checking out my humble little blog. This project started in 2020, through an insurmountable surge of divine guidance.
That was a little pompous, but let me tell you what happened before you judge.

In essence, when the world was losing its mind over the status of living through a pandemic, I decided to lean into my spiritual community, a coven of Witches to remain connected and grounded. Since I had all this new found free time, I wanted to learn the ins and outs of connecting with new age spirituality, which was still fairly new to me at the time and we'd all get together via zoom and discuss all things spirituality and our community grew stronger than ever during this time period.

During this time in my life, I learned how to connect and most importantly listen to the whispers of Spirit which often shows itself through the cycles of the moon, the four seasons, and learning how to connect with both your higher self as well as your demons through shadow work.

What happened is that I began my empowerment journey and started healing my wounds, thus creating The Season of Anya.
​
It's completely changed my life. I carry myself differently, I know how to remain positive even during the most challenging of times (and let me tell you, I have struggled with a lot of complex trauma throughout my life), and I have a sense of Faith in myself, in humanity, and in the Divine which I never thought possible.
​
My goal is to not convert you to anything, because I myself am also deeply embedded within my catholic roots and ultimately consider myself a new age Spiritualist, but I cannot deny is that a loving community of witches is who taught me how to learn to love again. Love myself, my friends, my family, and to fall in love with life, over and over again, and I want to share that journey with you all.
